Interesting that during the Dan Smith interview of May 5th the "priest caste" - issue was brought up in relation to the whole disclosure issue. This element of our exploration of this area is key - and is a core issue that exopolitics is dealing with at present.
One of the reasons the field exopolitics has demonstration huge growth in the last few years and the reason why it will continue to embrace a wide audience is because unlike the older UFO field it is a dynamic, organic process of becoming. It's good that we have [currently] 3 main players in the exopolitical field - and none of them fall into the traps the old U-Fool-ogy groups did of constant back-biting and false binary opposition arguments. We have Steve Bassett with his approach, Salla with another and the main man Webre with yet one more.
Although Steve Bassett primarily centres his focus on political lobbying [see: PRG definition of exopol and disclosure - http://paradigmresearchgroup.org ] - he has no problems with wider fields of exploration. Webre on the other hand has a vast range of knowledge and experience in a multitude of areas and is a true, mulit-modal synthesiser - incorporating much of it into his and Carol Rosin's "Four D's" [see: www.exopolitics.com]. Webre states that exopolitics is an interplay - not a static definition.
The common criticism against the exopolitical agenda is that it claims to "know all the answers". This is simply untrue and somewhat absurd. There is no way a structure dealing with an alien intelligence can know all the answers - instead exopolitics is trying to maybe fill the vacuum left by 50 years of UFO studies - ie: to at least attempt to provide a map of the terrain as we explore our way collectively to the cosmos and ETI.
The "politics" of exopolitics has a small p. It in no way deals with *just* the formal political structures. Disclosure has a far wider definition - especially in this era of networked hyper media and the failing mainstream media outlets. The 1960s model of activism is now but one option on the agenda and exopolitical thought should, and does, encompass them all.
On many levels the systems of the Catholic model of mediated priesthood vs. direct connection to the "Other" are being played out. Endless excursions into politics with a large "P" or 'insider'/intel circular "disclosure" leaks are now only part of the game. Disclosure by its nature is chaotic, prankster-like and mostly unpredictable. One only has to look at the recent, voluminous footage from Mexico to know that to an extent "we" are not in control and our agendas may well be irrelevant to the wider scheme of things.

The guy who thinks 'Webre is a putz' [i'm guessing the putz thing!] missed what I said about him being a synthesiser of disciplines... ie: if you want constant UFO stuff you don't get it with ALW.
