THIS IS FRONT PAGE NEWS!
Edgar Mitchell was just on Kerrang Radio.
I listened to it the live stream on Kerrang Radio web site.
For the first time he stated plain as day that "UFOs are real, there's a cover-up, and we're in contact with alien beings!"
This is not a joke!
Edgard has hinted around at this, but this is the first time he has fully opened up.
The host of the show almost had a stroke.

Here are some notes I took...
Edgar Mitchell says there IS life in the Universe.
He says we have been visited, and that UFOs have been covered up by the government for a long time.
The host almost has a stroke during the interview he's so shocked.
Edgar says it is a real phenomena.
He says he's been inside military circles and they know we've been visited and talk about it behind closed doors.
He says he's been involved in certain research committees and knows people who know the real story.
There is quite a bit of contact going on.
The Roswell crash was real.
Doesn't know if Disclosure will be this year or not...
Public acceptance is increasing.
Not all UFOs are of ET origin. Some are home-grown. But some are ET crafts.
He's not concerned about his safety talking about it openly anymore.
Alien intent is not hostile.
Some others involved in the Moon landing also know the truth.
The host made the point that this is the first time Edgar has stated so clearly that ET life exists and UFOs are real. He's hinted at it, but this is the first time ever...
To me this is ground breaking. I really respect Edgar.
Nick Pope just stated that this should be front page news all over the world tomorrow...
He is in shock about what Edgar just came out and stated.
And that takes a lot for Nick Pope to get excited.
This could be a huge step for disclosure folks...

Mitchell has publicly expressed his opinions that he is "90 per cent sure that many of the thousands of unidentified flying objects, or UFOs, recorded since the 1940s, belong to visitors from other planets" and that UFOs have been the "subject of disinformation in order to deflect attention and to create confusion so the truth doesn't come out." Awesome!
I am listening to the show as I type. Kerrang Radio is currently talking about their other interviews with people that have reported UFOs and ETs. They are saying basically (not an exact quote; "All of these reports need to be looked at again. This stuff is real!"
They are keeping the ball rolling - we can only hope that other media sources do the same with this info!

They key is that statement about him "not being afraid to talk about it anymore". Based on other developments it seems that is due to certain persons putting out the word it's "OK" rather than a personal choice based on lifespan or something.
They do seem to be pushing hard towards full disclosure, is it possible they've underestimated the amount of support and belief already in society and that the small pushes forward may trigger a sudden avalanche?

Kerrang radio contacted Nasa (by phone I beleive.) Not sure who they talked to, and I missed the actual question they asked (sorry, I am at work and trying to listen at the same time).
But my point  Nasa replied via email and said something to the effect that they do not support Dr. Edgar Mitchell's comments and they also said that they are not involved in any covering up of UFO info.
Pretty weak comment - not being involved in any cover up - I suppose that means that they reveal everything? LOL
I guess they have said a lot without saying anything.

The Host just said that their PR department is currently contacting other major media sources to share the story. Interesting to see who bothers to pick this up and who ignores it.

Thanks Nemo for providing the show.
I just started listening and have to say this radio show or whatever it is does not give me much confidence in this "disclosure". The interviewer sound like some crazy party dude. Certainly does not sound too serious. Why would Mitchell choose this sort of program to go public?
Edit to add:
The bloke or whoever he is just asked Mitchell how far he could jump on the moon. Mitchell answered that children always ask that. Ha ha
Again:
Well, I just finished listening and now I quite blown away. The program definitely finished with a bang. I about fell off my chair when Dr Mitchell said that if the ETs were hostile we would have been gone a long time ago. Where have I heard that before? 
One last thing:
Mitchell was asked if he fears for his safety in coming forward. He said, "Those days are gone. That used tobe a concern among people on the inside. I don't think they are knocking anybody off for that any more".
I hope he's correct. If so we may see more and more insiders coming out.
