I feel I need to add a few words about the book. The publishers gave me only 124 pages to write about Soviet and Russian UFO phenomenon. I was able to include as much fascinating information as possible; to give more details and discuss cases and patterns, I would need hundreds of pages.
But this is a great book, and a good introduction to the subject for those who know little about the secrets of Soviet paranormal phenomena. There are addresses of Russian and Ukrainian researchers, should you wish to contact them.
Western readers will learn of such amazing stories as the Ishimba 1953 incident over the taiga; strange account of the Phobos II demise; will see excerpts from the KGB files; and follow reports of Soviet military observers who had to report STRANGE OBJECTS IN THE SKY OVER THEIR NUCLEAR MISSILE SILOS, submarines, secret cosmodromes ... Chernobyl, Monchegorsk, Dalnegorsk, Tunguska, the World War II sightings, ancient Russian UFO sightings ... the book covers a lot.
Again, I am proud of my efforts, and am eternally grateful to my contacts in the former Soviet Union, modern Russia, my country of birth Ukraine, Uzbekistan, and all others. Whether you buy the book or not is up to you....

im confused.
interesting, the reports of green ray, i quick searched for more soviet ufo sightings in 1985 and found this on an old air force report.
Soviet airliner reported seeing a star-like UFO beam a thin ray on the ground, then turn its dazzling light on the aircraft, then become a green cloud that "escorted" the plane during a flight over Minsk in January 1985.
never heard of the green ray before, now twice in one day. interesting.

I have heard of the green "ray" of light. It's supposed to hold things in a certain position. Why it was aimed at the ground is a good question. I think there might have been something else the green solid light is supposed to do but I don't remember it right this second.
Some people mistake compassion for weakness or think of it as giving in. It is neither. It takes a much stronger person to show that compassion while at the same time, doing their job.

For those who have not followed SERPO in the past . . .
Victor Martinez: Lives in California. He is a semi-retired English school teacher.
He has been operating an email information stream for many years. The subjects concern, Politics, Astronomy, Astro-Physics and UFO's/ET's.
He has approx 1200 people on his lists. He sends out information daily. Most every international Ufologist is a recipient of his email streams. His list also includes many high ranking Gov't people, currently active and some retired. His email stream includes CIA operatives and is also received at the White House as well.
The Open Minds Forum Admin Team are in continual contact with Victor privately. And many members here are also on his email list.
ANONYMOUS: Is alleged to be a group of six Senior DIA officials (Defense Intelligence Agency). Three of which are on current duty and three of which are retired.
They are the ones who are "Releasing" all this information. They wish to inform the world through the internet of various UFO/ET related activities that the USG has been involved with over the past 60 years.
They are the source of all 26 SERPO & Related Releases to date. They started releasing information in November 2005.
Open Minds Forum: Is the elected forum for first publication of this material (By Anonymous & Victor Martinez). The Admin Team here, has undertaking the responsibility to facilitate these ANONYMOUS releases.
Each one of the Admin Team has their own opinions as to the validity of the material presented.

Why do they ALWAYS mention photographs and NEVER provide any? With all the hundreds of photo's supposedly floating around, it would be nice to see one or two, wouldn't it?

I am inclined to agree with your commentary, pal.
Reportedly, there are 3,000 pages of Serpo material and volumes of photographs taken by the brave twelve while they were sojourning (1965-78) in the kingdom of Ebens on binary Zeta Reticuli solar system (37.5 lights years from Earth) and stored in the musty vaults of DIA, why couldn't several be released to us - like those promised during the Christmas season of 2005?
There are two schools of thought as to why the Eben photographs were never as yet exposed to public scrutiny:-
* By releasing the Eben photographs, the prevailing official view is that the public, especially those debunkers wouldn't be able to accept them with a calm mind and there could be a social amok coming.
* The power that be has two factions - one favors releasing information and one totally against. Until the two factions come to common understanding, it will still be awhile before we can see those Eben pictures.

i thought that two photos were released, the old double sun 'sundog' photo and the half face view of one EBEN ?
I also remember reading those photos were debunked?

Those were not the photos I meant. Yes, they were debunked upon appearance and found to be irrelevant and had nothing to those promised by Mr. Anonymous...!!!
Well...please allow me to refresh you and backtrack this issue to Serpo Post #10 by Anonymous to Victor Martinez dated December 8, 2005 - some three weeks prior to the Christmas promise which was invariably never kept at all.
Anon wrote in his Post #10, thus:-
"...Once the public see these photographs, even our skeptics, die-hard debunkers and those that claim this is all a "non-event disclosure", will scratch their heads in total amazement! [They're not from a Hollywood movie set.]
" - one photograph shows the entire Team standing next to an Eben home with several Ebens standing in the background;
" - another photograph shows the Team's new home in the north;
" - another photograph shows an Eben village in the north;
" - another photograph shows a group of Ebens playing their "soccer" game. "
These four photographs were promised to be delivered after the annual holiday season in the December month of 2005, but from then to now - one year and nine months later, today, many of us the old timers and supporters of Serpo have yet to see Anon's solemn promise being made.
I don't blame Anon for renegading his promise as I have reasons to believe that he and his five DIA friends have met with "great opposition" within their top secret mission within DIA (Defense Intelligence Agency).
That's why I put in those two (possible) crucial schools of thought...!
However, I believe someday these pictures could appear as have been interestingly described and promised.
In the meantime, all we could do is wait and perhaps stretch out our patience to the end...
I believe all that begins well shall end well somehow...that goes for the same with the Serpo Story - with its go and then long pauses in between.
Patience is virtue...and I'm beginning to it during these months of waiting, pal!

It appears that the Anon 6 continue to try and distance themselves from Serpo. All this information on ET that the good ole U.S.A. has and now we move to Russia. Why doesn't the Anon 6 just stick to what they know and not have to rely on so called Russian ET stories?

ScarZ: I wonder if this new tack on the part of the Anons isn't a broadening of the topic to a more general Disclosure--or maybe they are just thorwing out some tidbits while waiting for the go ahead to release more Serpo information?

No doubt Humans,(russians and u.s )are trying to get that new toy now that they've seen it : the vaporizing weapon technology !
I would not say that the further release of Serpo information is dead at all. Release #26 is some information provided to us during the lull in the serpo-based information releases.
The information here is quite incredible. Personally, I have been busy examining the authenticity of the CIA documents.
