Source Reveals Secret UFO Meeting at U.N.

I received the following email from two trusted colleagues (Clay and Shawn Pickering) regarding a reliable source informing them that a secret meeting occurred yesterday morning (Feb 12) at the New York office of the United Nations concerning the recent spate of UFO sightings. It appears that a number of nation states are concerned about the impact of increased UFO sightings and wish to be briefed about what is happening.

Their source, who currently works in the diplomatic corps, had to travel for an early
morning off the record meeting at the UN. Their source revealed that a secret UFO working group exists that is authorizing the release of such information to the public, in an effort to acclimate others to what is about to unfold.

A date of 2013 was given as the time for official disclosure and/or when extraterrestrials show up in an unambiguous way. In the interim there will be acclimation related releases of information. Importantly, the source revealed that the events leading up to official disclosure will involve more ethically oriented extraterrestrials, and they will not pose a military threat to the world.

The information below may be related to the recent debate in the Japanese parliament and statements by the Defense Minister over how Japan would respond to extraterrestrials appearing over Japanese airspace that display peaceful intent. It appears nation states are moving forward in developing public policy on how to respond to extraterrestrials showing up. So if the information below is accurate, then it is likely that we will see more examples of governments making official statements concerning how they would respond to extraterrestrials that show up over their airspace. It is likely that parliamentarians around the world will start receiving briefings to help them develop public policy concerning extraterrestrial life.

Such briefings
will probably extend to prominent media sources who will give more coverage to UFO sightings in popular media outlets such as Larry King Live.
Increased media reports will first likely lead to disclosures of secret antigravity technologies that have been withheld for over 50 years, as a prelude to official disclsoure of extraterresrial life. The source's reference to suicides is probably related to those who will learn that much of what they have learned and believed over a lifetime was a lie. The 1961 Brookings Report referred to scientists as being most vulnerable to the disclosure of extraterrestrial life since it will make redundant many of the cherished scientific theories and models held by this community.

Overall, it appears that a countdown is underway to official disclosure around 2013, and that nation states and the UN are being briefed. The acclimation process will accelerate over the next five years as UFO sightings increase around the globe forcing governments to make public policy statements on UFOs and extraterrestrial life.

Thats both interesting and exciting if true,
Is the date right 'Febuary 13 2007' or did you forget to write 2008 ? i know i occasionally still write 2007 and forget.

Just great if true.

I like the sentence

"... disclosure will involve more ethically oriented extraterrestrials"

where one may conclude that there are others too :P

theres certainly a lot of meat and bones in that news article-disclosure. What we need now is some sort of collobrative evidence that the meeting actually took place - otherwise its probably gunna end up archieved and nothing much used for the time being

This doesn't smell right. If this "source" is genuine then he just very publicly blew off the secrecy on this meeting in a way which is going to be obvious to everyone present. Its not as though there will be a lot of US military representatives in a small unofficial briefing. Keeping the source confidential serves no real purpose other than to prevent any effort at verifying the story.

So I'm not buying this. Reveal the source so we can check the story properly. Or provide something which can be verified.

Not only do I not buy it, I don't think it's an interesting story. As part of their meeting agenda, they plan a "leak"? What is going on is the people that want disclosure are inventing what they feel are plausible scenarios to that end. In other words, they are taking the available information, using their intuition to speculate and guess a new scenario. Spreading this info is a way of framing.

However, this is truly an unethical practice and is what amounts to two wrongs trying to make a right. The individuals believe that the ends (disclosure) justify the means (false framing).

Thanks, zen, that explanation makes a lot of sense. A bit of "guerilla ontology" from the disclosure community ... quite ironic really given how close the Drone saga looks like part of an Alternate Reality Game (ARG).

Maybe when folk post these things up here in future we need a special "Framing!" icon for them... rather than waste the time of serious investigators in looking into them.

If people can't discern the truth for themselves, then becoming their filter would be a dangerous thing. People, especially investigators, need to discover for themselves how bias distorts what is.

Most people seem to just care about the entertainment quality from these stories, like the Coast To Coast AM audience, for example. They want to be fed something novel, some mysterious escapism, that rings true to them, that reinforces their prejudices, regardless of the actual situation. Such demand is why this stuff is able to fly in the first place.

This reminds me of something I remember reading in a book about successful business practices (may have been Peter Senge). Where the idea was basically not to spend time trying to cut out what doesn't work well, but rather to try to encourage what works well. If the latter could be determined, then I'd bet you'd probably create a "culture" that simply can't make use of bad info - there'd be no place for it.

Plausible deniability. Rather than an actual "secret" meeting, it makes more sense that the informant was told to put this out. A "controlled intel leak" is far more effective than a full out statement or an actual secret meeting where nothing is allowed to get out into the open.

I for one believe this. And even the meeting didn't happen, with the increasing number of sightings take place, I can guarantee that it "will" eventually happen.

there have been UFO meetings at the UN before, with this one just a lack of evidence to back it up so far is the only downside
