I would like everyones input on what I am going to say here, because this is where I am really torn.
Should I concentrate all of my efforts on waking everyone up and trying to get the word out as much as possible? Should I stress about joining working groups and working as much as I can and hope that it makes a difference ?
OR
Should I not stress about it and dwell on it so much, and just enjoy the rest of our current reality and have fun with my close friends & family ?
Its a very simple question, but not so simple of an answer, for me at least.

When I do try and not dwell on it so much and just relax and enjoy the rest of my time, I get this overwhelming feeling that comes over me that wants to take action and say something or do something. I believe that this force may be the universal consciousnesses that we are all connected to telling me something.
This feeling is tearing me apart sometimes. Its like, I have a job to do, but its a really really tough job that I do not want to do, but I know its important. Is it suppose to be like this ?
I am so glad to be awake and see whats really going on but at the same time, I kinda wish that I was a sheeple again. It seems like the sheeple have it easy, all they have to do is be ignorant and not worry about anything.
Im torn, I just don't know what to do anymore.

If the oppurtunity lends itself, or if you can create the circumstances to further disclosure, do what my brother and I did. Invite an officer (all services), diplomat, intelligence official or a politician in for a beer and start a dialogue. Fortunately for us our residence is in New York and we have the means to meet all types. You'll be surprised how even those who hold the secrets will open up if you know what you're talking about. This means all topics (Conspiracies) other than the UFO/ET equation. This is how we got the chance to have dinner on two occasions with Daniel Estulin who wrote the book "The Bildeberg Group."

Temporal makes an excellent suggestion. If this is not to your preference you might also ask yourself do feel most comfortable participating in a subject by doing something? If so then decide how much time & effort you are willing or able to commit and go looking for opportunties...we have many here already and they are growing with new ideas made everyday. Adopt one.
If the emotional welfare of your family is the greatest concern for you then you might focus on learning the subject as thoroughly as your time & resources permit and then focus on helping your family through this new phase which is coming through with courage and interest, you never know one of them may come to have a desire to participate and would never have had the introduction to it if not for your initiative to come here.
There are many opportunities and I think there is plenty of flexiblity for each individual to taylor it to themselves and their personal needs or interests.

housegroove, I understand the feeling you are haveing...it sounds to me like you have to find your niche. It brought you here so perhaps this is where you will find it. I still have moments where participating in this subject and then in the next moment dealing with something so mundane that I have this overwhelming urge to giggle because the difference between the two seem so extreme at this point. But they're not really. What would I plant in my garden given a choice...dandilions or dinner plate sized dahlias? I like those dahlias.

You sound a lot like me when I became convinced of the UFO/ET reality nineteen years ago. I joined MUFON, spoke to groups, hosted meetings and semi-crusaded. The bang I got for my buck was next to nil. (EDIT: with the exception of the gratification and confirmation that came with being a non-ridiculing sounding board for witnesses who reported sightings and "incidents" to me.)
Most of the people in my neck of the woods have been lulled into apathy about the UFO subject. If they see one story proven to be a hoax, then the ones that follow must be hoaxes also.
I'm thought of as a kook by the movers and shakers in my community and church, which curiously doesn't really doesn't bother me that much. I'm happy with my life and the family with whom I've been blessed. I backed off on the aggressiveness of my pursuits and quit MUFON, when it became too much of an imposition on my family life.
I still do a lot of research into the UFO world, although it's from a greater distance now. I pick my battles with idea of finding one that has legs that my cynical friends can possibly grasp. I saw this UFO/UN meeting as having potential, but so far, there's been nothing released that would garner their attention for more than 20 seconds before they'd be cracking wise on it.
It sounds like others are seeing better results elsewhere with their efforts. Your mileage may vary. I'd suggest you explore this further while the notion is still stirring you. I still have a minor flame burning for the issue, but I can't deny that years of seeing ridicule and denial increase in intensity has made me much more reclusive in my championing of the cause.

Hi guys, I am new to this forum and have been following this topic with interest. I have never seen a ufo, spoken to an alien of my knowledge or had any contact per se. I guess you could call me the average Joe. I am usually too busy with work and family to put much thought into these things. I was raised in a Christian home, and still value the basic principles. I do not really interject religion into my thoughts on these topics, as I feel the worlds religions do not properly address this, nor should they.
Welcome hardrock! I'm curious to know if the alleged UN UFO meeting is what primarily drew you into the fray? If that was part of the design of this announcement, I'd like to know how many bystanders have felt compelled to get into the action as a result.
I'm always very interested in the opinions of newcomers to this conversation.

I know we all want disclosure.
But have you ever wondered sometimes that these people holding the secret may in fact be reasonable people and for most people the truth really will be worse than not knowing? It was a post a little while back that sparked my mind about how if we could deal diplomatically with the situation we would have.
I can't help but think that there is the possibility that the ET's are not here to engage us diplomatically and it is a sense of inability to deal with the situation and a lack of real facts that has led to this whole scenario being kept secret. I still dislike conspiracy theories and a secret this big needs more behind it than just greed for power and money. I know I could not keep a secret like this if it was about power or money. I could, however, keep it if I believed it would ruin lives if it became known.
Either way it will probably be a moot point soon given the way things are progressing.
Etherian: I just heard from a young man who lives near where contactee M lives. He just reported he saw these bright stars moving around. This confirms what M was telling me last night. I also heard from a person who had a encounter back in 1952. A photojournalist from Moody Air Force Base contacted me and wants to come out. The letter to the editor that got published in the Moultrie Observer got a response on Rant and Rave that said that Ed knows what he is talking about.
Jeff Adams has yahoo and google automatic searches that alert him to what I am doing and is giving me feedback. He knew right away when the letter to the editor got printed and he told me last night about the Rant and Rave response. This shows how people can create grass roots intelligence networks in their area starting with a letter to the editor giving a email or blog address. If the newspapers are unresponsive then you go around them by passing around flyers to the local buisness for people to read directly.
Some folks might want to start doing these alerts in areas of interest it seems to work very well.

This, if true would be far more monumental than the Iranian boat story today, or the contemporary Iranian weapons being disclosed in Iraq or the Syrian Nuke facility story. In these cases, we all know that if the wheels fall off we could be in a heap of trouble both over there and domestically with oil going through the proverbial roof.
Battles in our skies or even in orbit above Ga. and going on regularly (daily? weekly?) would have to be seen by nearly everyone in the state and newpapers and TV station switchboards should be lit up like Christmas trees.
I am glad the guy from Moody is coming over to interview you. Perhaps he can shed some light on it.
Is it your opinion that Moody aircraft are involved? I would think that traffic out of there would be pretty easy to observe if it were war ready for a fight at altitudes low enough to be discernible by naked eyes. Or are you inferring that we have ET craft engaged? Or are they merely interceptors firing AMRAAM ,cannon or ASAT weaponry at the friendlies?
I have a problem with this as it would entail a lot more of us than your contacts, it would seem. It would be impossible to cover something like this up with flare drops by USAF as it would be seen at any reasonable altitude, for many miles away and by hundreds, if not thousands of people. If in suborbit or orbital action, it would be seen all over the Southeast and Eastern seaboard.
I imagine many will say the Iranian deal today is only a diversion for the sheeple. Obviously, that dog won't hunt long, if at all.
You indicated a possible climax coming in this fight. So we should see this issue settled very soon?
